Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of work around the implementation of Software Asset Management (SAM) tools for clients. I think it’s great that people are really focusing on SAM tools and, as well as the People and Process to go along with those tools.
SAP has been in the news lately regarding Indirect Usage. Mainly, SAP’s view as it relates to licensing (now confirmed by the court) versus their customers’ view of indirect licensing. That topic has been discussed ad nauseam so I won’t get into it again here.
