Brighten the Holidays for NYC Youth
New York, NY, November 24, 2009 – Siwel Consulting, Inc., a New York-based IT consulting firm, is sponsoring a unique experience for some of the city’s most underprivileged children. Working with New York Cares, Siwel is sponsoring events at the Museum of Natural History and at the Museum of Modern Art that will allow these children to enjoy some of the world’s most impressive exhibits, free of charge. On December 16, Siwel volunteers will accompany the class-sized groups on their tours. In addition to the educational opportunity of touring the museums, there will be fun activities including scavenger hunts, a project to complete and lunch.
“There’s just so much the city has to offer that some kids never get to see,” says Michele Metz, Siwel EVP. “We wanted to give them a chance to experience these amazing places in a fun way that will hopefully make a lasting holiday memory.”
